The Lazy Cake

I made this today as I had a number of things going out of date. You can make your own sponge cake or simply just buy a ready made one as I did. I used ready made sponge cake already because I was having one of my lazy kitchen days. Wanted some kind of dessert with minimal effort. This is it!

I made this today as I had a number of things going out of date. You can make your own sponge cake or simply just buy a ready made one as I did. I used ready made sponge cake already because I was having one of my lazy kitchen days. Wanted some kind of dessert with minimal effort. This is it!

Prepare the strawberry pudding, following the packet instructions. Let it cool completely.

Prepare the sponge if you are going to make your own and let it cool completely.

Then cut the sponge to about 1 cm thick and layer it until the strawberry is covered completely.

Prepare the chocolate pudding following the packet instructions and layer the sponge with the pudding.

Let it set for the required time.

Cover the top with sprinkles just before serving.

You can also add whipped cream then top with chocolate shavings or any kind of topping you prefer.
