Heat a microwave browning dish on a high for 2 min.

Place 1/2 tsp butter/oil into the hot browning dish. Crack 1 egg into the dish.

Puncture the top of the egg yolk with a sharp pointed knife so it does not explode during cooking.

Place the egg into the microwave and cook on high for 45 seconds. Check to make sure the egg white is solid and the yolk has set. Continue to cook for 10-15 seconds increments if needed; otherwise remove the egg from microwave sprinkle the seasoning (salt & pepper) & serve.
