Ingredients

  • 1 lbfresh garbanzo beans
  • To tastesalt
  • To tastechili flakes

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350f.

  2. 2

    Lay your beans on a baking tray and slide them in the oven for about 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    When they come out of the oven, the husks should be starting to brown. Toss them in a bowl with oil, salt and chili flakes.

  4. 4

    You can't really over season them because they are eaten like edamame, by sorta biting the husk and squeezing out the bean. The oil just serves to get the seasoning to stick a little to the shell. Feel free to experiment with different seasonings.
