I just made this with some plums I'd had sitting in the fruit bowl for ages.It was lovely and light!I actually added an egg to the wet ingredients as it seemed very similar to a muffin mix.I served it with custard.Delicious and very easy!I would definitely make this again, perhaps even with other fruit. Pears would be a nice alternative, perhaps in a chocolate cake batter instead??

I served it along with bhamia... Or stewed okra in tomato and garlic sauce.

I made the same thing a few weeks back using spring greens too. First time I've tried using spring greens for this dish but I liked it.

Banana pear and grapes

I've been trying different toppings in my bran flakes too. Surprisingly yummy.. I've tried apples and grapes too... Have to have banana on it as well though along with the other fruit.

I used your recipe again, but this time to make muffins for the kids. Added a few chocolate chips as an extra treat. The kids love them.

I just made this using your recipe... However I made a couple of alterations. I used oil instead of butter, plus a pinch of salt. Then I spontaneously decided to turn it into a marble cake and added a few chic chips to the top.

I just made it as I have been craving chocolate cake for a while now! Is really nice!! Moist and doesn't have that eggy smell you were talking about. Thank you. I will keep this recipe for future!

I snipped then into long pieces to replicate Churros.

I made these! Sooo good!!! I made the waffles as usual.. But then I toasted them to make them crispier, before drizzling with butter and dunking in cinnamon sugar. They take on a really nice crunch. They were amazing!!!

Super moist cake. I made half the mixture into cupcakes and the other into this loaf. I served the loaf with custard. The cupcakes topped with icing and sprinkles.
