This is basically my attempt on trying to cook different type of dishes and make my husband the guinea pig on testing them out.

I do like to cook sometimes and I just need an avenue on where I should document my journey (both failed and success ones). Cause some of them will be on repeat and I won’t remember all of them. (except rice. its easy to cook rice 😅)

Also, my husband and I are from 2 different cultures (Brazilian vs Malaysian) so it'd be nice for him to try out some of the Asian dish that I'm familiar on eating (not cooking). Hopefully it tasted good.

I'll give a shot on cooking some Brazillian dish as well soon. Wish me luck!

    potatoes. Sliced thinly • water • Mushroom slice thinly • White onion sliced thinly • Garlic clove (minced) • egg • Cooking cream • Shredded cheese (any cheese works honestly)
    • 1+ hours with prep (lotsa baking time!
    • 2 people who eats for 4!

    Stir Fried Black Pepper Beef (with lots of crunch from the onion & chilli)

    Beef (sliced thinly) • Oyster sauce • Worcestershire Sauce • Black Pepper Sauce • Soy Sauce • Olive Oil (or any cooking oil) • Salt • Pepper • Corn Flour • Onion • Garlic • Red & Green Chilli •
    • 1 hour or so (including prep)

    Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Api (Spicy Chicken in Coconut Milk)

    whole Chicken • Potatoes cut into fours • bird eye chilli (less is ok too) - blend • of Coconut milk • of Tamarind Peel (Asam Keping) or can substitute to 1 whole lemon juice • of Turmeric powder • Salt • of Worcestershire Sauce • of Water
    • Prep is 10mins but the cooking takes 30mins or so
    • 2 people that you can eat for a week honestly

    Asian Cucumber Salad that oozes with fresh flavours

    cucumber (the small ones) • Salt • minced Garlic • cut of sliced Onion • Spring Onion • vinegar • Korean Chilli Powder or Gochugaru (I don’t have any so I substitute with Chilli Flakes) • Soy Sauce • Sesame Oil • Brown Sugar • Sesame Seeds
    • 10 minutes
    • 2 people with additional serving in the fridge

    • Prep: 10 mins Baking: 15 min
    • 2 very hungry people
