Ingredients

  1. 1 tbspOlive oil
  2. 4chicken breasts
  3. 1 pinchfreshly ground nutmeg
  4. 1 smallorange zest
  5. 1onion
  6. 1 bunchthyme
  7. 4parsnips
  8. 2red apples
  9. 7 ozbutton mushrooms
  10. 1 pintschicken stock

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven 190/375/gas mark 5

    heat oil and brown chicken

  3. 3

    transfer to casserole and sprinkle with nutmeg and orange zest

  4. 4

    add roughly chopped onion and parsnips

  5. 5

    add sliced apples

  6. 6

    add mushrooms and thyme

  7. 7

    pour over chicken stock

  8. 8

    bake in oven for 2 hours
