Assemble your ingredients, clean and chop the ones that should be

Note the omena is already deep fried so in a sauce pan, heat oil, add the onions and cook till golden brown

Add garlic, tomatoes and green pepper and cook till it forms a gravy. Add salt, chilli cubes then the coconut cream and water. Then add the omena after the sauce has boiled. Simmer for about 5-10mins. By this time it should be ready. Sprinkle the coriander and serve with hot ugali
