Wash and soak dal and rice separately for 4 hrs. Then grind both to a smooth paste. Keep it overnight for fermentation.

Morning mix it well and add water as needed. Add salt as per taste. Take a non-stick pan and apply little oil and spread a spoonful of the batter and spread it in a circular motion. Then add chopped onions, grated carrot, chopped capsicum and chopped green chillies. Let it cook properly.

Flip it and cook from the other side also. Serve hot with chutney of ur choice or a cup of tea.If you want to make it instantly u can add a spoon of eno to the batter and make it immediately.
