Steps

In a bowl mix add besan, salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida & ginger paste. now add curd & mix well. Make a thick paste.

Now while adding water, make a smooth batter of it.pour this batter to a heavy bottom pan & cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Stir constantly.

Grease the back side of any large plate with oil & pour the cooked batter on it & spread it all over the plate.

Let it cool for 3-4 minutes. Then make straight cuts using a knife and make about 1 ½ inch wide strips. Now roll each strip into a roll. Put them in a plate.

Now for tadka, heat oil in a pan & add mustard seeds, let them splutter. Then add cumin seeds & sesame seeds and let them become brown.

Add chopped green chilies and curry leaves & switch off the gas.

With the help of a spoon pour seasoning on each khandvi. garnish with shredded coconut and chopped coriander leaves.

Serve it as a snack or starter.
