Taiwanese-style almond nougat (Simple version)

Simply use marshmallows to make these yummy creamy nougats. Always get the requests to make this so many times for the treat tray during Chinese New Year. Be aware~ It’s very delicious and so easy to eat them all without any notice. 😁

Simply use marshmallows to make these yummy creamy nougats. Always get the requests to make this so many times for the treat tray during Chinese New Year. Be aware~ It’s very delicious and so easy to eat them all without any notice. 😁

Toast the whole almonds in a 150c oven for 15 minutes. Place marshmallows and butter in a saucepan to melt.

While most of marshmallows melt, turn off the heat. (Keep stirring during the process.)

Pour in the milk powder and almonds into the marshmallow mixture and mix them all well.

Put the nougat on a baking paper and use a rolling pin to flat the nought. Leave it aside to cool.

Cut the nougat into a proper size and enjoy. 😋
