I made with d leftover idli batter. Pour the batter in a mixing bowl.

Add d grated beetroot, carrot & ginger,green chillies,curry leaves,onion,coriander leaves & pink salt and mix well.

Heat a appe mould on low flame,brush oil in each groove and pour d batter in each grooves & drizzle a little amount of oil in each holes. Cover with a steam releasing lid and let it cook for 5-7mins.

Remove d lid and see d upper layer is dried then flip on to d other side (without lid) cook for 20-25 seconds

Beetroot appe are ready to serve. Accompanied by coconut chutney or Ginger chutney or it goes well wdh sauce too. Enjoy this healthy Savory dish....within no time...wdh d leftover batter..
