Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 table spoonbesan
  • 1/2 table spoonsooji
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tea spoonSugar
  • As requiredOil
  • Eno fruit salt
  • 2t ea spoon Curd or half lemon juice
  • For tadka
  • 1 tea spoonOil
  • 1/2 tea spoonMustard seeds
  • 1/8 tea spoonCumin seeds
  • leavesCoriander
  • leavesCurry
  • 2 tea spoonSugar
  • 1 cupWater
  • 1/2 tea spoonBlack salt
  • to tasteSalt
  • Green chilli

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix besan sooji, salt,sugar, oil and make a batter by adding little water and consistency should be normal.

    Add eno fruit salt in last and put the batter in khaman pan and cook it for 8-10 minuts on medium to high flame

    After cooling down dish out the khaman in a plate and add tadka

    For tadka take a small pan add one tea spoon oil, add mustard and cumin seeds,curry leaves then add chopped green chillies

  5. 5

    Add sugar and water and give it a good boil

  6. 6

    In last add coriander leaves also you can add fresh grated coconut.

  7. 7

    This is sweet version of khaman.if you dont like sweet version then sugar and water not required.
