I wanted to snack on delicious savory rolls at home, so I came up with this recipe. If the dough is too tough to knead, add more milk, a little at a time.If the dough is too thin, it may break apart while frying. If you are making two servings, use 2/3 of the recipe to yield 6 rolls. The rolled up edges taste like donuts -- simply delicious. This was a request from my darling.I forgot to take a photo of the finished product on the plate. If you can find Smetana, the real Russian sour cream, omit the yogurt.Additional note: The rice does not have to be raw. You could use cooked rice (about one rice bowl's worth). It may be easier that way. Recipe by yasia cookpad.japan -

Russian Cakes Russian Cakes
I used to eat these all the time. They were bigger than normal cookies and had jam in them, so I was crazy about them. They smell so good fresh from the oven and are lovely and moist even after a few days. They stay delicious for about a week. If you omit the almond flour, remember to add 25 g of regular flour. If it's the hot season, consume them as soon as possible. There's a lot of butter in this recipe, so these should be baked as soon as they are piped out. If the batter becomes too soft, put it in the fridge for a little bit, then pipe. It's better to pipe the batter into aluminum cups to prevent them from spreading. If you pipe the sides up to 3 layers, you can fill the cakes with a lot of jam, but be careful not to let them overflow. Recipe by Okogegohan cookpad.japan -

Russian Potato Salad Russian Potato Salad
Olivier salad was invented by a Belgian cook, not a Russian. It was in 1860s when Lucien Olivier, a Belgian chef who worked at the Hermitage – one of Moscow’s most popular restaurants at that time, found the original recipe of the salad, hence the name of the dish.Olivier Salad/"Russian potato salad" is a meal on its own. Loaded with lots of vegetables, meats and eggs and finished with creamy mayo, this Russian salad is so satisfying and filling! Olivier salad is versatile, as long as it includes potatoes and dressed in mayonnaise. One can make it healthy, less healthy, expensive, cheap, exclusive, economical, and so on. Enjoy! LizzieVO
