Ayurveda-based simple home remedy that most Indian households have used for years and years to fight cold and sore throat!

Turmeric is known to posses anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties... so it’s my go to for an all natural anti-inflammatory drink!

I have a shot sized portion of this golden goodness every week in the winters (or when feeling poorly!)

Ingredients

  • 200 mlmilk
  • 1/4 teaspoonturmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoonhoney
  • 1/4 teaspoongrated ginger
  • 1 pinchground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan, add the milk, turmeric, grated ginger and ground black pepper. Bring to boil

  2. 2

    Strain the milk, mix in the honey. Garnish with some ground pepper and enjoy warm!
