Halwa jagrata wala

So making Jagrata style halwa is just a game of few ingredients & their ratio. The Ratio should be 1:1:2:4. Means The amount of Semolina& desi ghee should be the same, sugar double & water should be four-time.

First step is to roast the besan & semolina. Roast the semolina besan with cardamoms without ghee till it changes it's colour& one should get a nice aroma.

On the other hand, take a pan add water sugar & turmeric powder, bring it to a boil/ or till the sugar gets melted.

Now add the same quantity of desi ghee to roasted semolina mix well. (ghee should be room temperature melted & that not refrigerated)

Lastly, add the boiling sugar syrup to the roasted semolina gradually & stirring continuously so that no lumps should be formed. Let it cook for a couple of minutes.(At least for 3-4 mins). Switch off the flame & cover with a heavy lid for 2-3 mins add Chironji and the nuts of your choice. Serve hot. Best serve with boiled black chana.
