Steps

Heat a pot on the stove.

Add 100g butter to the pot and allow half to melt.

Once butter is halfway melted, add 1 can condensed milk.

While stirring the mixture add brown sugar and golden syrup.

Stir the mixture until sugar is dissolved and butter completely melted.

Continue stirring while mixture boils for 10 - 15 minutes on a low heat. While stirring, allow to boil in between for a few seconds.

Remove from heat and stir slowly in both directions.

To taste the readiness of the fudge, place a half tspn of the mixture in cold water. If the mixture turns toffee-like, then it's ready. If not, allow to boil for another 2 - 5 minutes while stirring slowly.

Once ready, poor mixture into a flat tray with wax paper and allow to set in the fridge for 1 hour to 2 hours.

Once set, cut the solid fudge into blocks for your desire.
