Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Clean and wash brussel sprouts and halve lengthwise through roots.

Roughly chop bacon

Season the sprouts in a bowl with oil, garlic, syrup, salt and pepper, add bacon.

Pour all into cast iron fry pan and saute for 5-10 minutes over medium high heat, stirring frequently.

Pop the whole pan into the oven for 20-25 minutes.
