Wash and soak rice and chana dal for 6-7 hours next make smooth mixture batter by adding yoghurt water some fenugreek seeds and leave it covered for fermentation.

When batter is ready take steamer on medium flame to heat up add eno salt pinch turmeric powder mix well now grease all the mould to make dhoklas and pour batter accordingly and allow it to steam for 15-20 minutes or till cooked soft.

Sprinkle chilli powder coriander leaves chopped while steaming dhoklas (optional)serve this hot khatta dhoklas with your favourite tomato garlic chutney.
