Steps

Add 1/4 cup of pudina leaves, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, 3 green chilies in a mixer and grind them into a paste.

Heat oil in the pressure cooker and now add the whole spices and saute it.

Now add onion and keep stirring them till it becomes light brown colour.

Now add the paste into it and saute it for 2 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes and stir it, add garam masala, curd,balance pudina leaves, salt and nicely mix it.

Add water and let it boil for a minute now add rice and slightly stir it well.

Now close the cooker and pressure cook it for two whistles in high flame.

Turn off the stove after two whistles and release the pressure after 3 minutes and open the cooker and serve it hot with onion raita.
