Ingredients

  • 2 cupsmaida
  • 2/3 cupssoftened butter
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1egg beaten
  • as requiredLeftover chicken or mutton minced
  • 6 tablespoonschilled water from fridge

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the flour and salt together. Keep on adding the soft butter with a spoon and mix them very well with the flour.

  2. 2

    Then keep on adding 2 tablespoons of water and kneading the dough. Repeat the process until the dough is formed.

  3. 3

    Roll out the dough and place on the moulds. Stuff with cooked chicken mince. You may also use left over meat. With a knife scratch out the excess dough from the moulds. Decorate as you wish to. Brush with egg wash before putting in the oven

  4. 4

    Pre heat the microwave oven and bake the pies at 220 degrees for 20 minutes. Let it cool down after taking out from the oven. De mould them carefully and serve.
