Steps

15 days
  1. 1

Roughly chop the Coriander leaving the stems. Place a tissue paper in the container. Keep all the chopped Coriander on it and cover with one more tissue paper. Close the lid and keep in the refrigerator. In between, keep checking the tissue paper on top. If it's wet, discard it and place a new one. In this way, Coriander stays fresh for 15-20 days. You can use newspaper too instead of tissue paper.

  2. 2

In the same way, you can store Green chillies and Curry Leaves too. For the Green chillies, you need to remove the stem before storing. The procedure is the same. In the same way, pluck all the Curry Leaves from it's stem, store them in the container as shown. This is the best possible method of storing our Green Leaves.

  3. 3

Cover with the lid and store in the refrigerator. Curry Leaves and Green Chillies stay good for upto a month. They stay fresh. Take care to change the tissue paper on the top just to keep off the moisture that gets build up. It is because of this moisture or wetness that they get spoilt. But now rest assured, they will not wilt anymore. Happy Storing!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
