Ingredients

20 minutes
5_6 person
  • 2medium sized potatoes
  • 1 cupgram flour
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspchat masala
  • Oil for frying

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and peel potatoes than thinly sliced them and put in water.

  2. 2

    In another bowl take gram flour, steive it and add salt, red chilli, cumin, carom seeds and mix them properly

  3. 3

    Now add water in gram flour slowly and make a thick batter. Keep a side for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Now drain water from potatoes slices.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a wok

  6. 6

    Now dip potatoes slices one by one in gram flour mixture and deep fry them till golden colour from sides. And take out on absorbent paper. Sprinkle chat masala over them. (optional)

  7. 7

    Repeat the procedure till all slices dipped and fried. Serve with any chutney or ketchup
