Poche Plantation Pain Perdu Poche Plantation Pain Perdu
In 2007 my parents decided they were going to explore the U.S. They made a stop in Louisiana on their way out west so we could visit for a few days. This recipe comes from Poche Plantation; where they stayed. Breakfast there was complimentary and after tasting this, they begged the owner for the recipe. Luckily he gave them a copy. The literal translation from French for "pain perdu" is "lost bread". Basically this is french toast taken to a whole new level. IHOP, quit haten on me! lol King-Crimson -
Bacon Pain d'Epi Bacon Pain d'Epi
I wanted to eat a pain d'epi with black pepper in it, so I used French bread dough to make it.If you prefer a thick puffy pain d'epi, divide the dough into 3 portions. If you divide it into 4 as specified in this recipe, you'll have thin, crispy bread. For 4 'stalks'. Recipe by Narimofugi cookpad.japan -
Pain de Panda Pain de Panda
I made this bread to to make my little niece happy. I used SALASA's delicious recipe for light and fluffy sandwich breadas a reference, and made this without thinking it through too much - and it worked! It was so cute, I decided to upload the recipe...For the dough, please refer to SALASA's recipe, which is really easy to understand. I basically just used it as craft material... The eyes will look cuter if you position them a little lower than shown in the photo. In addition, put the formed dough pieces in the middle of the pan if possible! Please adjust the cocoa and matcha tea powder amounts to taste. Even if you just add a little, the dough will still have a nice color, and will look very soft and nice. For one rectangular pullman loaf (206 x 108 x 100 mm high). Recipe by TARO-TARO cookpad.japan -

Pain perdu is a French dessert. It's really good and easy to make. We used to make it back home in my country Côte d'Ivoire. We eat a lot of French meal in my country due to the fact that we were colonized by the French in the past. Hope you will enjoy it! Bon appetit Devine Love -

Pizza-Bacon Pain d'Epi & Sausage Pain d'Epi Pizza-Bacon Pain d'Epi & Sausage Pain d'Epi
I turned my favorite pizza bread and sausage bread into pain d'epi (wheat stalk shaped bread) with just a little effort. They look quite elegant, and make great gifts.Try making this with sesame dough too.Give this a try too, "Fragrant crispy Chikuwa Pain d'Epi".Use anything you like to fill the dough♪ When forming the dough in Step 7, if you have sauce or ketchup on the dough it won't stick together properly, so be careful. Turn the kitchen scissors on their side, and cut the dough in one go leaving just the bottom dough connected!I like this bread well baked. Please adjust the rising and baking time depending on your oven. For 6 "stalks" of bread. Recipe by Youtank cookpad.japan -

Beef Pares Beef Pares
This particular dish is a common one in the cheap street-side eateries around the Philippines. It is heavily Chinese-influenced from its use of spices. Pares (pa-RES) is the Filipino word meaning 'pair', and the dish got this name because it is typically served paired with garlic fried rice. 🇵🇭 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
Sweet Potato Pain de Campagne Sweet Potato Pain de Campagne
I'm really into pain de campagne. I keep on coming up with lots of delicious things to add to one, and can't wait to try them.Let the dough rise completely for the 1st rising. For the 2nd rising, if the dough increases by 1.5 times its original volume, it's done. Recipe by Chibato cookpad.japan -
