Ingredients

  • 1 cupflour
  • 1 cupcaster sugar
  • 2 tablespoonscocoa
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla
  • 2eggs
  • 125 gbutter, melted
  • 1/2 cupmilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 180°C.

    Line a 20cm round cake tin with baking paper.

  2. 2

    In a medium sized bowl, add all ingredients.

    Use an electric mixer and mix for about 2-3 minutes or until mixture is smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    Pour cake mixture into tin.

    Bake for approximately 45 minutes.

  4. 4

    When you remove the cake from oven, let it cool in the pan for about five minutes or so.

    Turn the cake out on to a cooling rack.

  5. 5

    Make sure it is completely cool before you ice it. We just dusted it lightly with icing sugar.
