Soak your regular lentils overnight if you don't have readily split lentils. When you wash off, the skin will automatically come off.

Fry your onions untill translucent then add minced garlic and fry for a while.

Add in your tomatoes and let it simmer until it's well cooked.

Add the lentils with some water then let it cook for about 15-20 minutes.

Add your cream and let it simmer to your preferred thickness consistency.

Switch off your source of heat and garnish.

Serve hit with rice, chapati, naan or just eat it like that.
