Ingredients

  • 250gm sponge gourd
  • 1onion
  • 1pinch turmeric powder
  • 1pinch asafoetida
  • 1pinch cumin seeds
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2tsp red chilli powder
  • 4tsp oil
  • salt as per taste

  1. 1

    Peel off the sponge gourd. Cut into big pieces and pressure cook them in a pressure cooker.

  2. 2

    Chop the onion.

  3. 3

    Now strain the water of sponge gourd and mash it with the help of messher.

  4. 4

    In a wok add oil. Bring it to heat. Add cumin, asafoetida and onion. Stir fry it.After that add meshed sponge gourd.

  5. 5

    Now add all the spices and mix it well. Spread coriander leaves.
