Ingredients

45 to 50 mins
for 10 people
  • 3eggs (room temperature)
  • 10 tablespoonsugar
  • 12 tablespoonoil
  • 8 tablespoonmilk (room temperature)
  • 2 cupsor 20 tablespoon of all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  • 1 tablespoonvanilla essence
  • Few raisins optional

Steps

45 to 50 mins
  1. 1

    In a bowl first add 3 eggs and sugar beat it for 5 minutes or until little bit creamy

    Then add oil,milk vanilla essence mix it all together

    Then add sieved baking powder and flour gradually

  4. 4

    Batter should be smooth without lumps

  5. 5

    Preheat pot with rack in it for 10 minutes in high flame

  6. 6

    Then grease the cake mould with oil or ghee and dust with flour remove the excess flour now pour the batter into the cake mould and sprinkle some raisins on top optional put in the preheat pot for 45 minutes in low to medium flame cover the lid and don't open

  7. 7

    After 40 minutes check the cake with the skewer when it's done turn off the flame and remain the cake in the pot cover the lid for 10 minutes

  8. 8

    Then take it out and cut into pieces and enjoy with tea or in breakfast
