Chana dal is a popular Indian snacks. which is a salty, crispy & spicy snacks made from soaked chana dal.

Take chana dal in a bowl then add water & baking soda.Mix it well. Soak it for 7-8 hrs..

After soaked strain the water. Wash it 3-4 times in water.

Now dry the soaked dal on a clean cloth. Dry it in room temperature for one hour. After one hour it's ready for frying.

Heat cooking oil in a pan for frying. Add chana dal to the hot oil.

Fry it in medium flame till gets crisp. After frying, check the crispness then switch off the flame.

Now strain the oil.

Spread it properly on tissue paper & let it cool down.

After cool down add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala & amchur powder. Mix it well.

Store it in an air tight container & use it within 3-4 months.
