In a big bowl or jug add curd. Whisk it smooth add water then add 2 spoon of gram flour. Mix it well.

In a bowl add rest of the gram flour, salt and 1/3 of the chilli powder. Mix well and add water as required to make batter.

Chop onions and green chillies. In the pakoda batter add some of chopped onions and green chillies. Mix well. In a pan add oil enough to deep fry the pakodas. Put the batter in oil using a spoon or your hands. Deep fry till golden brown.

For kadhi put a pan on the flame. In it add the gram flour mixed lassi. Stir it on high flame till some water reduces. Keep stirring it so it won't burn. For tadka add some oil in another pan. Put cumin seeds, once they crackle add onions and chopped green chilli. Stir them till golden brown. Add turmeric, salt, chilli powder. Let it cook for a minute then add it to the lassi.

Mix the tadka well. After a couple boils once the kadhi has absorbed all the spices in it and has achieved desired consistency then add pakode in it. Cook till one boil on high flame. Switch off the flame and serve with rice or roti or just enjoy with some papad and salad.
