I love kachori very much. I always try new recipes, so today I made suji kachori. Deep fried suji/rava kachori, with spicy potato filling.

I love kachori very much. I always try new recipes, so today I made suji kachori. Deep fried suji/rava kachori, with spicy potato filling.
Steps

Firstly prepare suji dough by boiling 2 cups water, 1/4 tsp ajwain, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil.

Stirring continuously and cook till it thicken.

Once the rava is warm knead well till the rava dough turns soft and smooth.

Heat oil in another pan and put cumin seeds.

Add chopped onions and fry for a minute.

Add all spices and then boiled and mashed potatoes.

Mix well and add chopped coriander leaves.

Now grease hand with oil and pinch a ball sized rava dough.

Flatten slightly, make shape of cup and stuff 1 tbsp of aloo stuffing in centre.

Get the sides together and pinch to seal.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry the rava kachori in hot oil.

Fry them till golden and crisp.

Remove from oil and soak extra oil with tissue paper.

Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
