Ingredients

4 servings
  • 5large boiled eggs
  • 1 tspoil
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 2cloves
  • 4-5black pepper
  • 2medium onion finely chopped
  • 3medium tomatoes pureed
  • 2green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 inchginger crushed
  • 3/4 clovesgarlic crushed
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 cupwater
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tspfresh cream for garnish

Steps

    Heat oil in pan on medium flame. Once oil is hot, add cumin seeds, clove, pepper.

  2. 2

    Saute for few seconds till fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add chopped onion and cook for 2/3 min. till it become golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add ginger,garlic,chopped green chilli cook another 2/3 min or till raw smell goes away.

  5. 5

    Add pureed tomatoes and mix. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.

  6. 6

    Open the pan and add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and kashmiri red chili powder. Cover the pan again and cook for another 6-7 minutes.

  7. 7

    Once the tomatoes and spices are nicely cooked, add 1 cup of water to the pan. Add less water for a thicker consistency or more for thinner.

    Garnish with some fresh cream and serve hot.
