Ingredients

2 burgers
  1. 1 cupsoaked chick peas (soak overnight)
  2. 1 cupparsley rough chopped
  3. 1/2 cupcilantro rough chopped
  4. 1garlic clove
  5. 1/2onion rough chopped
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1 tspblack pepper
  8. 1/2 tspcumin
  9. 1/2 tspred pepper
  10. 1/2 tsphot pepper minced. *optional
  11. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  12. 2 TBSchick pea flour (for gluten free)
  13. or 2TBS AP flour but will NOT be gluten free if used
  14. optionalDill yogurt sauce (just mix together)
  15. 1 cupplain Greek yogurt
  16. 2 tspdry dill weed
  17. 1 tspsalt
  18. 1 tsppepper
  19. 1 tspgarlic

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Preheat oven 375 degrees F

  2. 2

    Add herbs garlic onion to processor until a fine chop

  3. 3

    Add soaked chickpeas, flour baking powder and spices and process until nicely pulsed into a slightly chunky “dough” shouldn’t be mushy but fine enough to form patty shapes

  4. 4

    Form patties

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  6. 6

    Add some oil of your choice to sheet pan rub a little to the top of patty so it doesn’t dry out too much

  7. 7

    Bake for 10-13 mins until one side is nice and brown flip to bake other side the same way

  8. 8

    Add to bun of your choice and add any toppings you like !
