Peel onion and make cross cut on one side of onion. Don't cut into pieces.

In a glass jar pour water and vinegar. Add salt to it. Stir all and put pieces of beetroot in it.

Stir it well. The colour of mixture turns to pink. Now add onion in the jar.

Cover the jar with lid and give it a shake to mix all ingredients. Keep it for 24 hrs. After 24 hrs it's ready to eat.
