Homemade Red Chilli Sauce | Easy and Quick Red Chili Sauce

The ingredients for making this red chilli sauce are cheap and are easily available. You can increase the number of chillies for those who like it really hot but also increase the number of the other ingredients and especially the ginger. It should be stored in the fridge and can stay up to 3 weeks if well preserved.

The ingredients for making this red chilli sauce are cheap and are easily available. You can increase the number of chillies for those who like it really hot but also increase the number of the other ingredients and especially the ginger. Remove the sepal part from the tomatoes and small dice or big chop them.

Big chop the onions

Remove the stalks and calyxes from the chillies and slice them into 2 or 3 sections depending with the size.

Small dice the ginger and garlic.

Into the blender add in all the ingredients and blend them for 1 minute, checking the consistency after every 15 or 20 seconds.

While your pot is on high head add in the cooking oil, give it some time to warm up.

Switch off the gas when adding in the blended ingredients to avoid burning yourself or flame going up then switch it on back to high heat.

Mix the oil with the yet to be chilli sauce till they combine well.

Add in salt and stir very well then cover the pot with a lid and bring it to a boil.

Occasionally stir it.

Reduce the flame to medium and let it simmer for 10 minutes till you get a think-like consistency that resembles porridge and switch off the gas.

Let it cool for 10 minutes then you can use it.
