Went to the grocery store and spotted canned asparagus and crab 😍💕🦀. Grabbed them, bought them, and made this dish for a meal at home. 😋🤗
Cooking Instructions

Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger with a chopper until smooth, then sauté with butter until fragrant. Add the sautéed mixture to a pot of boiling water.

Add the sweet corn kernels and boil until the corn is tender. Add the canned crab meat. I used 1/2 can, but you can add more to taste 🦀💕.

Lightly beat the egg and slowly add it to the soup while stirring quickly to create a thread-like pattern.

I used the asparagus brand shown in the photo. I used 1/2 can and cut it into pieces. I added it last after everything was cooked because the asparagus is very tender and can easily break apart.

Thicken with cornstarch slurry to your liking, and season with salt, sugar, pepper, nutmeg, sesame oil, and seasoning to taste.

In this recipe, I never really measured, there is no set measurements as this is a recipe to use up all vegetables and meat laying about in your house. Save the tips of the vegetables and use them as a thickener for the soup. I had a whole bag of asparagus tips to use up so I saved them and added to the soup, the asparagus are what give this soup the flavour. This tastes a bit like split pea soup.
