Kalakand is a popular Indian sweet made by homemade paneer and sugar.It is moist, juicy ,delicious and has a delicate grainy texture.Kalakand is flavored with cardamon powder and optionally garnished with chopped nuts.
Steps

In a large vessel boil the milk. Once the milk has come to boil slowly add vinegar and keep stirring it.

Once the milk has curdled strain the mixture with the help of thin muslin cloth. pour some cold water on the paneer in order to remove the sour taste or lemon. Squeeze the water has drained off completely.

Mash the paneer 5 to 10 mins in order to get it a smooth texture without any grains.

In a deep bottom pan take sugar and add water. Allow it to boil and wait till the sugar completely dissolves.

Add the mashed paneer and stirring in low flame add cardamom powder and turmeric powder and Stir continuously.Then it will start to thicken and form glossy texture add ghee and mix it well.

Reduce the flame to low and stir continuously to prevent burning. Very soon it becomes a thicknass and begins to leave the sides of the pan. Turn off the flame.

Transfer to the prepared greased tray and spread and level it.Sprinkle chopped dried nuts press down with a spatula.

Let it to set completely at least an hour. Then cut into pieces and serve it.
