Sautéed Aromatic Winter Vegetables
Some vegetables go unnoticed in markets; their flavors, textures, and of course, their healthy existence.

Clean the vegetables; use the collard green stems and also the hearts of the plant, their nutty flavor will surprise you.

Cut the vegetables into even cubes.
- 3
In a pot, add water and salt. Bring to a boil and add the vegetables. Cook for 10 minutes and drain (the resulting broth can make an excellent soup).

Chop the garlic and cilantro. Heat the lard in a pan and add them.
- 5
Add the vegetables and sauté for about 5 minutes, then serve.
