Doon Chetin Kashmiri walnut chutney

“Doon”means walnut in Kashmiri and “Chetin” refers to chutney. The Doon Chetin combines really unusual ingredients but I should admit it taste absolutely amazing, rich and creamy yet light and exquisite, the chillies ,garlic and mint adding a zing to it,the walnut contributing their nuttiness, with the faintest of sourness from the hung curd. Yumminess ,I tell you!
Traditionally, the Kashmiri’s prepare Doon Chetin in a stone mortal and pestle which gives it a slightly course texture.it is eaten with kebabs or rice dishes but can be use it as a dip.
Try it out ,and I am sure you will love it.
