Wash and clean moong dal&a tsp of rice, soak it for 4-5 hours,grind it little coarse in a blender adding ginger, chilli, & cumin seeds and salt, (add little water)batter should be little thick, to this add turmeric powder, red chilli powder mix well

Heat up a dosa pan, spread chila batter as you do it for dosa..sprinkle some oil or ghee over it, flip other side fry both sides properly,

Your healthy moong dal chilla is ready to serve...garnish with some chopped coriander leaves, serve with chutney or any of your favourite dip or sauce.
