First up: Coat the well cleaned & washed fish pieces with the aforementioned salt, turmeric & red chilli powders & keep it aside for at least 15-30 mins time

Heat up a frying pan over the high flame: Add in the measured mustard oil until it’s fuming, lower the flame to medium now & allow it to cool down a bit- (if required, put off the flame for a couple of minutes time)

Now, turn on the flame again (if put off): Add in the fish pieces to the hot oil very gently & carefully, flame to be kept on the medium...fry the fish pieces in batches until dark golden brown from its both sides

Once done: Transfer them into a different plate lined with the kitchen towel to soak the excess oil (if any), enjoy it with piping hot steamed rice, dal, sabji & curries with some green salads, chutneys, curd etc.
