Cut bacon into cubes, brown of, add onions cook until soft

Chop the celeriak and celery, remove stalks from cabbage, discard stalks, slice carrots add all vegetables to bacon and onion, saute them off. Keep good eye on them so they don't burn.

Boil the peas in a little water when cooked puree them add puree to the stew. Add water to get a good consistency. Chop or press garlic into stew.

Rinse beans add to stew. Gently simmer until cooked, add the sausages.

In a separate pot boil potatoes that have been cut into bitesize pieces. When cooked add to stew. Season to taste.
Serve hot with some rustic bread
