Cocoa Churros

I made these for breakfast on my day off. You can make these with ingredients available at home, and it makes a wonderful breakfast with a side of fruits.

Aim for the dough to be the consistency that's easy to pipe out. Wait for the oil to heat up before frying the dough. I advise using a star-shaped nozzle or else the dough may explode when deep frying.
The dough has sugar, so you can eat it as is itself, or coat with cinnamon sugar as shown in the photo, or with melted chocolate as they do in Spain. Recipe by Yukanattsu

Ingredients

  1. 100 gramsMilk
  2. 20 gramsButter
  3. 100 gramsCake flour
  4. 10 gramsCocoa powder
  5. 20 gramsSugar
  6. 1Egg (large)

Steps

    Add the milk and butter to a frying pan, and heat.

    2Heat it up to the point right before it boils, and added the sifted dry ingredients all at once.

    Remove from the heat momentarily, and mix together with a spatula.

    Turn the heat back on, add in the whisked egg a bit at a time. The dough should start to firm up.

    Place the dough into a pastry bag and pipe into your desired shapes on parchment paper.

    You could shape them into hearts.

    Fry in oil, and they're done.
