1 cupmilk
1 cupwhole wheat all-purpose flour (about 120 grams)
1 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 tspcinnamon
1/2 cupbrown sugar
1large egg
1/4 cupcanola oil
shredded apples (about 200 grams)

Mix the egg, milk, and oil together and set aside.

Combine the dry ingredients: oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Add the shredded apples and stir until just incorporated.

Spoon the batter into muffin molds.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.
