  1. 1filet Salted salmon
  2. 1 tbspSake
  3. 1 pinchDashi stock granules
  4. 1*saltiness can be adjusted* Unsalted raw salmon, alternatively

Steps

  1. 1

    Sprinkle the salmon with sake and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 3 to 5 minutes until cooked through while keeping an eye on it.

    Check if it's cooked through while removing the skin and bones.

    If you make a small amount, simply transfer the salmon meat and dashi stock granules into a mixing bowl, and crush into small pieces with a whisk.

    When a big amount, use a food processor to flake, pulsing for 1 second increments while keeping an eye on it.

    I would also recommend eating it as is without flaking, as it is fluffy and delicious. This is our family's favorite way to eat salmon these days.

    You can use anytime if you make a big portions and store in the freezer. It would work great when you have no time to cook, or to pack in a lunch box.
