Brown Sugar Cafe Au Lait Rolls

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

While I was having a coffee and a crepe, I thought up this creamy and fluffy bread.

Please adjust the baking time according to your oven. When you take the rolls out of the pan, they are baked correctly if the bottom is a light golden brown.
If it doesn't have any color, then please return the rolls to the oven and bake some more.
You don't have to return them to the pan at this point. Recipe by pogue

Steps

  1. 1

Place the ingredients into the bread maker, make an indent in the flour, and add the yeast. Turn it on using the "bread dough course". Add the nuts at the add ingredients signal.

  2. 2

When finished, place the dough onto a floured surface, cut into 9 equal portions using a dough knife, and roll the dough balls to enclose the seam.

  3. 3

Place the dough with the seam facing downwards, cover with a well wrung out rag; and let rest for 15 minutes.

  4. 4

Place the dough in the palm of your hand one by one and stretch them to remove the gas. Form them back into balls, and place them on a pan lined with parchment paper with a space in between each one.

  5. 5

Let the rolls sit in a warm spot for about an hour for the second rise. Let them rise until they about double in size, until they fill the pan completely.

  6. 6

※ You can also use the bread rise setting on your oven. If you do, do so at 40℃ for 50 minutes.

  7. 7

Bake in an oven preheated to 200℃ for 5 minutes, reduce to 180℃, and bake for 15 minutes.

  8. 8

Once they have finished baking, immediately flip the pan upside down and take them out, and let cool on a wire rack. They are so fluffy it feels like you will crush them!
