  • 200 gramsKachori dough
    Kachori dough
  • 50 gramsMargarine
  • 1 teaspoonCornstarch
  • Fillings as required
  • Oil for frying

    Make a dough, give rest for 30 minutes.

    Make balls, give rest 10 minutes.

    Margarine mix with half teaspoon cornstarch, half keep aside.
    Roll the ball and make thin flatten bread,spread margarine with fingers lightly and sprinkle cornstarch a pinch then
    Fallow the steps shown in the pictures to fold the flatten bread

    Cover with plastic film and give rest more 5 to 10 minutes. Press corner with finger pressure to make thin edges.

    Put stuffing in centre and fold all the corners towards the centre.
    Tie the edges to give a twist and press down with the hand.

    Put in try after lamination and freeze them for later use.

    Note: you can use mincemeat (chicken, beef, mutton), lentils, potatoes, vegetables or onions for stuffing.
    But most famous in Pakistan are mincemeat and chicken.

    Note : Fry in medium heat,
    Give it some extra time and cook it Slowly.

  9. 9

    Freeze them for later use or fry.
    Heat oil for frying and keep the flame to a low. Add kachori when oil is hot enough.When the kachori start puffing up,then gently nudge each kachori with a spoon, so that they will puff up well.
