This is a very old & traditional Punjabi style onions salad & the most popular & commonplace ones...immensely chatpata, filled with crunch & flavours & the most easiest & quickest perhaps !!!

This is a very old & traditional Punjabi style onions salad & the most popular & commonplace ones...immensely chatpata, filled with crunch & flavours & the most easiest & quickest perhaps !!!

Cut the Onions into the 1” sized thick Roundels: Take out the layers of Rings of it & immerse all of that into the ice cold water for at least 15-20 mins- Set aside

Once the mentioned time is over- Take it out, strain the water & spread it in a colander to get separated from each other a bit & get dried up fast (as much is possible)

In the meanwhile: Prepare the Chatpata Masala for the same & set aside....Spread out the onions lachchas now in a comparatively big vessel to be applied with the prepared Masala & mix everything well together until nicely combined and well blended

Checkout the seasonings at this point...Garnish it as you want & put this layers on the serving platter- accompanied by some lemon wedges & green chillies, etc. to look more colourful & that might be required while having it as other important ingredients in any Indian meal dishes, mostly
