Ingredients

10 minutes
2 people
  • 4 ginger root
  • 1/2 tspground turmeric
  • 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tspground black pepper
  • 1 tbsphoney (optional)
  • 2-4besil leaves
  • 1/2lemon
  • 2 cupwater

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash the ginger root. Peel off the skin and crush it

    In a pot add 2 cups of water along with all ingredients, other than lime and honey.

    Bring all the contents to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Turn off the flame and then cover with lid and rest it for 10 minutes.

    Now add honey and squeeze the 1/2 lime and whisk it well.

    Strain the tea through a fine sieve. Transfer to a cup.

    Ready to drink.
