Wash rice and soak in water for 5-6 hours.

Grind the rice into fine paste. Add grated coconut,salt and water.
Batter should be very thin with flowing consistency - 3
Heat a pan. Pour a ladle full of the batter and start from the sides and move the tawa to spread the batter.
Donot use spoon to spread the batter. - 4
Once the dosa starts leaving the edges, Flip and cook from both the sides.
Serve with coconut chutney.
