Chocochip cookie was originated in US in 1930's . I personally like this recipe because it'll be crispy outside and chewy inside. For kids we can give this instead of giving packed biscuits which has preservatives.

In a large bowl add 1/2 cup room temperature butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar & granulated white sugar. Whisk it till it becomes creamy then add 1egg and whisk it for a minute.

Take another mixing bowl, sieve and add 1 1/4th cup of maida, 1tbsp corn flour (corn flour gives the outer layer crispy), 1/2 tsp baking soda & salt and shift it. Then combine both dry ingredients & wet ingredients.

Then add 1/2tsp vanilla essence & 1 cup Chocochips and make a dough of it.
Take 1tbsp dough and roll it like a ball or whatever shape you want, place the dough in the baking tray and preheat the oven for 180°C then bake it in OTG for 45-50mins. Am using Samsung 28L capacity smart oven, it needs only 20mins baking time. After it bakes rest it for few mins and then serve.
